OPL Services in the Red-Control Zone

Thursday, March 18, 2021

OTTAWA – Ottawa Public Library services remain the same and in full compliance with the provincial guidance regarding the Red-Control Zone which will take effect on Friday, March 19.

Throughout the city, 31 Library branches remain open to offer returns and holds pick up inside the branches, with 28 of them also offering browsing and use of public computers. Capacity limits continue to be in effect.

Hours of operation remain the same. Cardholders can return borrowed items when branches are open.

The Library continues to follow direction from the Province of Ontario and guidance from Ottawa Public Health to stop the spread of COVID-19 in our community. Mask-wearing inside the branches, and outside in line, remains mandatory.

We recommend to all our cardholders to visit BiblioOttawaLibrary.ca for more detailed information about the services being offered and hours of operation at their local branch, and to place holds for library items.
