Kathy, originally from Montreal, has lived in Ottawa since 1977. After 37 years of federal public service, she retired in July 2014 as Director of Consumer Policy at Industry Canada. Kathy also represented Canada's telcommunications interests internationally as Director of International Telecommunications Policy and brought connectivity to Canadians while Director of Broadband at Industry Canada. Kathy serves on the Board of the Federation of Ontario Public Libraries. Kathy holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Carleton University and a certificate in Public Sector Leadership and Governance from the University of Ottawa.
