Grow your own garden with the Ottawa Public Library

OTTAWA– The Ottawa Public Library (OPL) will be hosting a series of online gardening programs for anyone interested in learning more about gardening. The series runs on select Wednesdays (in English) and Thursdays (inFrench)during May and June.

  • Join David Hinks, Master Gardener, for an introductory workshop on Basic Organic Gardeningon May 27 at 2pm.
  • Renée-Claude Goulet, a Science Advisor at the Canadian Agriculture Food Museum, will present The Secret Life of Soilon June 3 at 2pm.
  • Learn more about growing vegetables with Rebecca Last, Master Gardener, in 10 Easy City Veggieson June 10 at 2pm.
  • Join us in French for Introduction au jardinagewith market gardener Bee Vaillancourt on May 28 at 2 pm.
  • Get to the root of the gardening success with Renée-Claude Goulet, in French, for La vie secrète des solson June 4 at 2pm.

All of these events are free and will take place on Zoom. Registration through the OPL websiteis required.
