Friday, January 31, 2020

OTTAWA– February is the shortest month of the year and OPL has plenty of programs to fill your days. Join the Ottawa Public Library for a series of events that will highlight Ottawa’s French-Canadian heritage and some excellent children’s literature.

Heritage Month

From February 8 to February 29, come enjoy the legends and tales that bring to life the National Capital Region’s rich history. Colette Laplantefrom Ottawa StoryTellers and Sébastien Lemayfrom MASC will enchant you with their stories for children and adults.

Tournée Lire à tout vent

Across the country, the tour is dedicated to promoting French-Canadian youth literature, organized by Communication-Jeunesse. From February 12 to February 15, author and illustrator Anne Villeneuve will be visiting lucky schools in the Ottawa region.
