Experience the fascination of fall as OPL illuminates young adult literature: Ottawa Reads YA series

Tuesday, October 17, 2023

This November, Ottawa Reads YA will feature three great authors of the Young Adult (YA) genre -- OPL is offering a mix of in-person events as well as virtual and hybrid events. Fellow YA literature fans and aspiring writers will get the chance to connect with top YA authors as well as discover new talented authors.

Participants of Ottawa Reads YA will have the unique chance to immerse themselves in engaging author discussions or immersive writing workshops. Every session provides the audience with an exclusive opportunity to directly engage with the author, allowing them to inquire about their literary passions. This event offers a remarkable platform for connecting with writers and gaining valuable insights into their literary odyssey, their literary works, their creative procedures, and the experiences that come with being a published author.

All events are free and open to all ages, here’s the full roster:

  • Friday, November 3 at 7pm at NC Chambers – Kelley Armstrong

  • Wednesday, November 15 at 7pm – Virtual – Jonathan Bécotte

  • Saturday, November 18 at 2pm at Greenboro – Pascale Lacelle
