The Ottawa Historical Society presents: "The Karsh Brothers - Canadian Legends of Photography"

Photograph of the Parliament Hill skyline taken between the end of the 19th century and 1916.

The Karsh brothers, arriving in Ottawa as young Amernian refugees, built careers as world-acclaimed photographers -- Yousuf with his penetrating portraits of some of the twentieth century's most prominent figures, and Malak for his exquisite eye in capturing the sublime beauty of nature and landscape.

Guest speaker Paul Couvrette, friend and colleague of the Karsh brothers, recounts their legacy.
