Come join us the 4th Thursday of every month for lively discussion on a variety of English-language books. Everything from non-fiction to fantasy to gentle reads, there's something for everyone - and you may find a new genre that appeals to you!
When you register, we will reserve a copy of the book for you - no need to place a hold, unless you would like to enjoy the book in a different format.
For June, we'll be having a BYOB party... Bring Your Own Book Party, that is! Whether it be an old favourite, or something new and amazing that recently crossed your path, we want to see what you recommend everyone should read and hear why you loved it. A list of the recommended titles will appear on the website after the event.

In May we plunge into the halls of a residential school for the deaf. March will find us in Thune, where, worn out after decades of mercenary work, Viv, the orc barbarian, decides to hunt for one last treasure before settling down and opening a coffee shop. Unfortunately - or fortunately - her transition to the quiet life is anything but quiet.)
February brings us to Molly Gray, a maid who struggles with social skills and takes comfort in creating order out of chaos. When she finds the body of a wealthy patron in his hotel room, it turns out murder is one mess she cannot clean up on her own.
January brings us to Europe, where Bird and Mimi, an Indigenous couple inspired by a handful of old postcards sent by Uncle Lenny nearly a hundred years before, attempt to trace the steps of Mimi's long-lost uncle and the family medicine bundle he took with him to Europe.

November brings us to turn-of-the-century America, where Englishwoman Alice Wright evades her new overbearing in-laws by joining the Horseback Librarians of Kentucky.
In October, dive into Cole's personal experiences with the racist practices of the Toronto police force, and the realities of discrimination in Canada.
We kick off September with Henny, who has just "kicked off" unexpectedly, and just as unexpectedly finds herself haunting the charmingly decrepit Pine Away Motel and Cabins where she and her friends worked.
