Josephine Cox dies at 82 - with more than 60 books to her name

Jul 23, 2020

Josephine Cox wrote a small library of family sagas, and sold more than 20 million copies.  Her popular style captured many readers as she drew inspiration from her poverty stricken upbringing in Blackburn, UK.  Jo Cox has "left a legacy, not only through her stories that touched the hearts of millions, but as a woman who led the way for others by forging a path from humble beginnings to the top of the bestseller lists".  She was also a champion of libraries, and as it happens, one of the top borrowed authors in UK public libraries with a loyal following. She always delivered what her readers wanted, good storytelling woven with romance and tragedy.

Her last book was Two Sisters, published in February.
