eBooks and eAudioBooks by Indigenous Authors and Illustrators

May 07, 2020

The Ottawa Public Library has a rich collection of wonderful eBooks and eAudioBooks by Indigenous authors and illustrators.

Did you know that the Truth and Reconciliation Commission calls on Canadians to learn about the history and culture of Indigenous people including the residential school experience? Reading books by Indigenous authors and illustrators is a step towards this goal.  You will find stories for all ages in our collection.

Are your eyes tired from spending too much time in front of a screen? No worries.  Listen to an eAudioBook written by an Indigenous author or take this opportunity to listen to one together with your family. It is an ideal way to start a conversation.
