Canadian Children’s Book Week (CCBW)/Lire à tout vent (LATV) celebrates talented Canadian authors and illustrators, both English and French. This year CCBW/LATV takes place April 28 to May 4, 2024. This is an opportunity for children across Canada to learn about the writing process from professional Canadian authors and illustrators. Programs offered during this week will connect classrooms across Ottawa, inspire kids to embrace a love of reading and give participants a glimpse at the everyday work of being an author or illustrator.
This year OPL will be hosting both in-person and virtual programs. We are thrilled to feature Rochelle Strauss (English virtual program) and Anne Renaud (French virtual program) open to classrooms and individuals alike across Ottawa.
