  • Tuesday, November 22, 2022
  • 4 pm
  • Ottawa Public Library’s Metcalfe village branch
  • 8243 Victoria Street, (Old Township Hall)

Remarks and refreshments will be followed closely by a fun and educational visit from Little Ray’s Reptiles that will delight children and their families and send them home with a thirst for knowledge that the Library will be able to help satisfy at any age!

The Library space in the Old Township Hall was renovated to create a welcoming, light and airy branch for the public to enjoy OPL’s many offerings. Public computers, reading chairs, workstations and children’s area surround well-stocked shelves of books for readers of all ages under the high ceilings of this heritage building. The branch’s new location makes accessing various municipal services simple and convenient under one roof at the heart of the community. In fact, the first Metcalfe library started in a back room of the same Township Hall in 1968.
