2022 Audie Award WINNERS Announced

Graphic of 2022 Audie Awards

Vendredi 18 mars 2022

Great News!  The Audie Awards Gala took place on March 4 and the winners have been announced!  The bad news is that for the second year in a row the winner was published by Amazon and they won't sell to libraries!  Anyway, there are plenty of other fantastic winners and nominees that you can take out of the library -- see the booklist below.

The Audie Awards is the premier awards program in the United States recognizing distinction in audiobooks and spoken-word entertainment. Publishers and rights holders enter titles in various categories for recognition of achievement. Finalists are selected, and then one winner is awarded in each category at the Audies Gala.

Annually, the audiobook industry gathers for the Audies Ceremony – to celebrate the year's finest works and talent. The 2022 Audies Gala played on March 4th on YouTube, hosted by Kal Penn, with celebrity judges Gigi Gorgeous, Caitlyn Paxson, Anthony Allen Ramos, Kristen Arnett, Gayle Forman, and Seija Rankin!

Happy Listening!
