Share the pleasure of reading and discussing books ranging from the classics to the contemporary, but mostly fiction, in a relaxed atmosphere

(If the first Monday of a month falls on a Civic Holiday, the book club will be postponed to the following week)

March 4 - The World: A Family History of Humanity by Simon Sebag Montefiore (non-fiction)

April 8 - White Noise by Don DeLillo (US)

May 6 - What Strange Paradise by Omar El Akkad (Canadian, Giller) 

Get feedback on your writing (any genre)and ideas from the group. Hear the work of other writers and offer your feedback. Discuss ideas about writing and publishing. Share your triumphs, trials and tribulations with a supportive, informal group.

Learn and practice new English language skills and meet new people in a relaxed and friendly environment. Offered in partnership with Greenbelt Church. All are welcome to this drop-in program!
