Jan 13, 2022

The COVID-19 pandemic has left many teens feeling disconnected as they find themselves with very different school and daily lives than a year ago. We recognize that many young people are struggling during these uncertain times.

We would like to share these resources that are available to teens in our community.

YouthNet/RéseauAdo (YNRA) is a bilingual, for youth by youth, mental-health program at CHEO. YNRA offers alternative support services for youth aged 13-20. They work at reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and illness through prevention and intervention programs, education, research and advocacy.

Many of these resources are also open to children and/or adults.

For more information on youth mental health, consult Ottawa Public Health’s The Link.
