OPL physical branches are closed effective Monday, March 16 due to COVID-19 (coronavirus). However, you can continue to use the digital library by downloading e-books, e-audiobooks and magazines, streaming movies, TV shows and music, reading newspapers, and access to other online resources.
New customers must create an RBdigital account. To create an account:
- Click on the RBdigital link on the OPL website. If you are accessing the webpage from outside the library, please enter your library card number and PIN.
- Click on “Register” in the top right corner of the page.
- Fill in the required fields. Please note that you must accept RBDigital’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- When finished, click “Register”.
RBdigital offers an easy, interactive browsing experience of the digital versions of the popular magazines you know and love.
Customers can click the English or French icon in the top-right corner of the page to select their preferred language. Customers can browse magazines by popularity as well as perform searches for specific periodicals.
In advanced Search you can browse the titles by genre. When you click each individual title, it will bring you to a page with a description, details and all issues. You can easily jump to any article from the table of contents. In addition, there is an option to zoom in and out for better readability.
