All OPL branches will be closed the morning of December 3

OTTAWA – On the morning of Friday, December 3, the Ottawa Public Library will be closed for an annual  forum for all employees 

OPL is investing time in its employees to provide the community with the best service possible. 

This morning closure will only affect 6 OPL branches: Main, Nepean Centrepointe, Cumberland, Ruth E Dickinson, Greenboro, and Beaverbrook.

Regular hours will resume the same day, at 1 pm. 

Please note that the following branches will not be affected as they are not open on Fridays.  

  • Constance Bay 

  • Fitzroy Harbour 

  • Metcalfe Village 

  • Munster 

  • North Gower 

  • Osgoode 

  • Vernon 

Although the branches will be closed during this time, online services are always available at https://biblioottawalibrary.ca/en
